LUKACS GYORGY: (1885-1971) Hungarian Philosopher and Marxist Intellectual. Co-founder of Western Marxism, he contributed to the development of Karl Marx´s theory. A good T.L.S., `Georg Lukacs´, one page, small 4to, Budapest, 29th August 1964, to Dr. Rolf Michaelis, in German. Lukacs reports to his correspondent on the completion of his essay, stating `In a short break from work, I managed to finish the Dery essay long before the appointment. It turned out a little longer than I intended and had discussed with them. Hopefully that won't hinder the possibility of publication. When the article appears, please send me two copies.´ Accompanied by the original envelope, typed addressed, with autograph sender´s name and address to the verso in green ink.
