JUNGER ERNST: (1895-1998) German philosopher, author and soldier, known for his World War I memoir Storm of Steel. A.L.S., Ernst Junger, on one side of a colour picture postcard featuring a reproduction of Saint-Germain-des-Pres, Wilflingen, 21st January 1973, to Horst Schade, in German. Junger sends his thanks for the insect photographs and continues 'Unfortunately, there is no clue at all to the future - yes - you could well be out of your wits with fear. So you are once again a medical orderly - and I am still dealing with my New Year letters.' VG
