An Italian translation of the speech delivered by Ottoman ruler of Egypt, Mohamad Ali Pasha, to free the Jews falsely accused in the Damascus Blood Libel.
The second part of the page contains an Italian translation of the Firman (royal decree) presented to Sir Moses Montefiore and to French Jewish activist Adolph Cremieux, who headed the international Jewish delegation appealing for justice for the falsely accused Jews of Damascus.
