Maharam Shick, Orach Chaim, Satmar 1904.
Maharam Schick (1807-1879) was born in Hungary (in what is now part of Slovakia), and was a student of the Chatam Sofer and a rabbi and Yeshiva dean in Yeirgin and Hust. Like his teacher, he fought against the Reform movement. He wrote commentaries on the Torah, the Talmud, and on the 613 commandments.
