"Kol Haba Baruch Haba", two paintings on glass - House Blessing, attributed to Moshe Ben Yitzchak Mizrahi (Shah). [Jerusalem, 1920s-30s].
Oil paint and silver foil on glass.
Two decorated glass plaques, with an identical design (different colors): a pair of lions holding a ribbon, inscribed: "Kol Haba Baruch Haba" appear on upper part. In the center, within a circle, appear Rachel's Tomb with two trees on the side, a golden medallion, inscribed: "Baruch Ata BeVo'acha uBaruch Ata Betzetcha", a golden medallion with illustration of Joseph's Tomb (below it two "Shofars" with flowers and birds on both sides) and illustrations of Shmuel the Prophet's tomb and the Cave of the Patriarchs. On the left and right side of the central circle appear two pairs of Cypresses and two rams standing on a rock.
40X32.5 cm; 40X47 cm. Good condition. Framed. Unexamined out of frame.
