Achi'ezer - "Responsa and halachic commentary on the sections of the Shulchan Aruch, Yoreh De'ah section" by Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinski Av Beit Din of Vilnius. Vilnius, 1925. First edition. This section is the second among the three sections of the Achi'ezer responsa.

On the title page, a dedication handwritten and signed by the author: "memento of friendship to my friend Rabbi Yerachmiel Eliyahu Botschko, Chaim Ozer Grodzinski, the seventh of Tishrei 5690 (1930)".

Chaim Ozer Grodzinski ‎‎(1863 –1940) was a pre-eminent Av Beit Din, Posek and Talmudic scholar in Vilnius, Lithuania in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. During his 55 years of community service, he was recognized as the leading Posek and spiritual guide of his generation, fielding halakhic queries from all parts of the world and being consulted on every Jewish communal issue. He played an instrumental role in preserving Lithuanian yeshivas during the Communist era, and saved the yeshivas of Poland and Russia during the Nazi invasion of Poland in 1939, when he arranged for these yeshivas to relocate to Lithuanian cities. The three sections of his great halachic creation, the Achi'ezer responsa, were published during the years 1922-1939.

His handwritten dedication is extremely rare!
