PARK CHUNG-HEE: (1917-1979) South Korean General, later President of South Korea 1963-79. Park assumed the presidency after first ruling the country as head of a military junta installed by the May coup in 1961. Signed 5.5 x 3.5 Presidential card, in Korean, 2nd October 1976. The card bears an attractive blind embossed monogram to the heading. A bold and clean black ink signature, bearing the printed text beneath ''Park Chung Hee - President of the Republic of Korea''.
