PRINCE CHARLES OF BELGIUM: (1903-1983) Count of Flanders, second son of Albert I, King of the Belgians. Prince Regent of Belgium 1944-50, serving in lieu of his older brother King Leopold III. A very early autograph document by Charles of Belgium, one page, sheet with lines, 8vo, n.p., with a date ink stamp, 4th November 1913, in French. The document being a spelling exercise in French, with twenty one words carefully penned by the ten years old Prince, on two lists showing the difference between words written with ''ci'' and ''sci''. With blue pencil annotation by the teacher and a spelling small printed text affixed at the heading. To the bottom left corner bearing an ink stamp of the ''Comte de Flandre - Prince de Belgique''.
