BELGIAN ROYALTY: A good selection of four documents signed by several members of the Belgian Royalty, comprising two by LEOPOLD I (1640-1705) Holy Roman Emperor, King of Hungary, Croatia and Bohemia, 1658-1705. A good A.L., by King Leopold I, n.p., 9th August 1945, in French, stating in part `..he must receive the orders from the Queen for the disembarkation..´, and a signed clipped piece, being the bottom part of a letter, signed in Brussels on 16th November 1836, countersigned by the General Adjutant; LOUISE OF ORLEANS (1812-1850) First Queen of the Belgians 1832-50, as second spouse of king Leopold I. Queen Louise-Marie died of tuberculosis at the early age of 38. A good signed clipped piece, Brussels, 4th August 1837; HENRIETTE OF BELGIUM (1870-1948) Belgian Princess, Duchess of Vendome. A good A.L.S., `Henriette´, three pages, 4to, Neuilly, 18th May 1921, on her printed stationery with attractive embossed monogramme. G to VG £100-150
