CERNAN GENE: (1934-2017) American astronaut, Commander of the Apollo XVII mission (1972) and the eleventh man to walk on the Moon. Signed and inscribed colour 10 x 8 photograph, the official NASA image depicting Cernan and his fellow crew members, Harrison Schmitt and Ron Evans, standing and seated together in full-length poses, each wearing their white spacesuits, with the Moon Rover vehicle at Kennedy Space Centre, and with the rocket launch pad visible in the background.
