ECKENER HUGO: (1868-1954) German Airship Commander of the Graf Zeppelin for most of its record breaking flights, including the first airship flight around the world, 1929. Vintage signed sepia postcard photograph of Eckener in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in black fountain pen ink with his name alone at the base of the image. The postcard also features a facsimile signature to the lower border. VG
