FRANCO FRANCISCO: (1892-1975) Spanish General who served as Caudillo, in a dictatorship as Head of State of Spain 1936-75. An attractive and unusual signed presentation montage, the 4to card featuring a colour 8 x 8.5 photographic reproduction of a painting of Franco in a head and shoulders pose wearing ceremonial uniform, with two red and orange ribbons affixed to the right edge by a good red wax seal and impression at the base. Signed by Franco in dark fountain pen ink to the border beneath the image and dated 8th September 1971 in his hand.
