LACROIX FRANÇOIS DE: (1774-1841) French General, Commandant of the Turtle island. A good A.L.S., `Lacroix´, one page, folio, Toulon, 5th June 1803, to Delpeche, in French. On a letter bearing the printed heading of the French Republic, Lacroix responds to his correspondent, Commandant in Saint Domingue, stating `..for your behaviour when General Lecrerc´s army landed in Saint Domingue..
