Rare sword of the Berber Peoples of Tunisia and Libya, XIX century.
Hilt made entirely of horn, consisting of three elements: pommel, handle and cross. Mounts European blade of the 18th century. Straight spine and channel up to the blade, edge run to the outside. In the first quarter, in both sides, they appear engraved the half moon, the sun and the star. Wooden scabbard lined with leather. Good general preservation. Small portion of the upper part of the pommel is missing, however the whole of the harness remains firm. Stains and slight scratches on the blade. Complete scabbard, with some damage.
