'Undzer Hofnung' (Our Hope) - a newspaper of the survivors in the DP camp of Aschau, ten issues published in 1947.

Ten issues of the newspaper Undzer Hofnung - the newspaper of the Ashwega Displaced Persons Camp in Germany, edited by Mordechai Donitz. The newspaper appeared in Yiddish and English, and contained reviews of what was happening in the world around the Jewish question after the war.
In the following pages, a record of the life of the displaced persons in the camp, including announcements of weddings between camp residents.
At its peak, on October 19, 1946, the camp housed approximately 3,350 Jews.

Extremely rare issues, we have not found any copies of this newspaper to have appeared for sale on Bidspirit to date.
