Archeology of the Land of Israel - 'Kedem' a file for the study of Israel's antiquity edited by A. L. Sukenik - Jerusalem 1942-1945. The two volumes that were printed.
The journal was published by the Department of Archeology at the Hebrew University and dealt with the study of Israel's antiquities in the Land of Israel and the Diaspora, it published articles by the greatest and best researchers and archaeologists accompanied by photographs.
The editor of the journal was Elazar Lipa Sukenik, who was the first to insist on the importance of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
The two volumes that were printed. Extremely rare.
Good-moderate condition. Slight defects and tears in the envelopes of the sheets. Volume two is a little loose.
אריכאולוגיה של ארץ ישראל - 'קדם' קובץ לחקר קדמוניות ישראל בעריכת א. ל. סוקניק - ירושלים תש"ב-תש"ה | 1942-1945. שני הכרכים שנדפסו.
כתב העת יצא לאור ע"י המחלקה לאריכאולוגיה באוניברסיטה העברית [אז נקראה בית הנכות לעתיקות היהודים] ועסק בחקר עתיקות ישראל בארץ ישראל ובגולה, התפרסמו בו מאמרים מאת גדולי וטובי החוקרים והארכיאולוגים בליווי תצלומים.
עורך כתב העת היה אלעזר ליפא סוקניק, מי שהיה הראשון שעמד על חשיבותן של המגילות הגנוזות.
שני הכרכים שנדפסו. נדיר מאוד.
מצב טוב-בינוני. פגמים וקרעים קלים במעטפות הגיליונות. כרך שני מעט רופף.
