Antique European hand carved eagle crescent wood plaque
Antique European Hand carved wood plaque with Eagle Crescent possibly German or Austrian origin. A hand carved wooden plaque with the Latin phrase : Labor Omnia Vincit which means Work conquers all. A unique wall hanging piece baring a European Coat of arms showing an eagle facing left , holding a Stone Mason Mallet and a Chisel and the inscription Labor Omnia Vincit. Stamped & dated on verso GAG 32. Measures 14 inches long by 10 inches wide.
