Letter of Request from Rabbi Yehoshua Menachem Ehrenberg, Written When he was Serving as Rabbi in Cyprus, to the Secretary of the Chief Rabbinate, Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Shazuri
Letter of request written and signed by Rabbi Yehoshua Menachem Ehrenberg, sent to Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Shazuri, secretary of the chief rabbinate and publisher of the Kol Torah journal. The letter was written during the term that Rabbi Ehrenberg served as chief rabbi of Cyprus. In his letter, he asks Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Shazuri to print his article in an issue of Kol Torah and requests that it be divided into a number of chapters. He also notes that he spoke with chief rabbis Uziel and Herzog regarding frozen meat for the detainees in the Cyprus internment camp.

Background: Rabbi Yehoshua Menachem Ehrenberg 1905-1976 was a chassidic Torah scholar, halachic adjudicator and Av Beit Din in Tel Aviv. He served as chief rabbi of the internment camps in Cyprus and authored many works.
