Handwritten letter by Rabbi Shomo Yisrael Klein (grandson of the holy Rabbi Shmelke of Selish). Selish, Tuesday of the week of the Torah portion Noach, the first day of Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, 1934.
Description: 15x32 cm. Entirely in his handwriting, and with his signature.
Condition: Fine-very fine. Fold mark and slight tears without lack.
Rabbi Shlomo Yisrael Klein (1884-1945) was the son of Rabbi Pinchas Chaim, son of the holy Rabbi Shmelke of Selish. He studied in the Unsdorf yeshivah. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Netanel Fried, author of Pnei Mevin. Served as rabbi in Selish. He authored books on Torah and Shas. He perished in the Bergen-Belsen labor camp during the Holocaust.
