Beautiful halachic letter covering two leaves, handwritten and signed by the gaon Rabbi Ya'akov Baruch Frankel of Kalov - one of the leading disciples of the Chatam Sofer. Újfehértó [Hungary], 1817. Apparently not printed.
This is a leaf from Rabbi Frankel's ledger, apparently in preparation for his book of responsa. The leaf is numbered and also appears before the letter of responsum as marked in the sefer. The letter is addressed to his friend Rabbi Baruch Katz.
