Sefat Emet, [4] Parts. First Edition. Elegant Copies. Gilt Title Pages
Sefat Emet - Chassidic thought on the Torah portions and the festivals by Rabbi Yehudah Aryeh Leib of Gur, who left this blessing for us. Four parts. Pietrkov-Krakow, 1905-1906.
First edition of this important Chassidic work, by whose title the author is forever known: as the author of Sefat Emet. This edition was printed immediately after the Rebbe's passing. (The first part was printed in the first year after his passing.)
This set is magnificent and elegant from the beautiful fabric bindings (with the owner's name in gilt imprint on them); the shiny high-quality paper upon which the books were printed; the colorful page cuts; the floral flyleaves and the books' title pages that were printed entirely in elegant gilt ink.
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the Admo"r Rabbi Yehudah Leib Alter of Gur.
