ANCIENT ROME 98-117 AD Denarius Coins Clips-On Earrings In 18Kt Yellow Gold
This is a stunning pair of clips-on earrings mounted with two genuine ancient silver denarius coins from the Roman Empire. The earrings frames were crafted with irregular shapes to reinforce the antiquity design, in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The coins that embellished this pair are authentic ancient Roman coins struck during the Roman Imperial period in the name of the Emperor Trajan, between the 98 AD and 117 AD. Obverse description: The middle aged naked and laureate portrait-bust of the Emperor Trajan 98-117 AD, facing to the right, with the legend around, IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS VPP. Weight: 20.45 grams (13.25 Dwt.). Measurements: Each diameter of 26 mm (1.02 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's and retailer’s marks, the mark for the assay of the 18kt gold and signed as follow; "HADAYA 18KT". Catalogue references: BMC-227. Cohen-426. RIC-193. Woytek-232b. 18.8mm, 3.42 grams. Circa 107 AD.
