This is a beautiful easel back antique desk clock, created during the Edwardian period in New York city by the Tiffany & Co. circa 1910. The rare clock has been designed with neo-classical patterns in a square shape with chamfered corners. The clock is very decorative and has been carefully crafted in solid sterling silver .925/.999 and embellished with engine turned guilloche designs, which is decorated with applications of pink enamel. It is fitted at the reverse, with a concealed easel back retractable hinged stand. Movement & Dial: Swiss mechanical hand wingding, 8 days. The dial has been restored. Is made in white porcelain, analog with Arabic numerals, Breguet hands and inscribed, 8 days Swiss. A secondary dial at 6 for the seconds. Bombe glass. Weight: 195.75 Grams, (125.48 Dwt). Measurements: 83 mm by 83 mm by 70 mm (3.25 x 3.25 x 2.75 Inches). Case Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver, the four-digits inventory numbers and signed as follow: "TIFFANY & CO. STERLING N69M".
Condition: The overall condition of this desk clock is very good. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the movement, the silver parts or the enamel. This clock has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity. This clock is 115 years old.
