Our Summer Great Estates Curated Auction features more than 100 lots of art, furniture, sculptures, porcelain, pottery, decorative items and more. Among the highlights is a painting attributed to Gustave Caillebotte, as well as artwork by William Trost Richards, Clara Ledesma, and George Henry Boughton. The sale also features a collection of hand painted fans, as well as portrait miniatures, including mourning pendants, and a French repeating musical pocket watch. Pair of Sevres Style Porcelain & Gilt Bronze Vases
Pair of Sevres style lidded porcelain vases / urns. Each with ormolu mounts, magenta with gilt decoration and hand painted with scenes of lovers, with castles in landscapes on the reverse. Both signed E. Grisard. Bronze mounts stamped France on the underside of each, both with blue interlaced L with central S marks on the undersides and to the interiors of lids. Each 17 1/2"H to top of finial on lid. Some oxidation present on ormolu, mount bent at rim on one.
