Copper engraving framed in a passepartout behind glass in a painted wooden frame. Depiction of three shepherds with goats and sheep by a river, on the other bank a simple hut with other people and animals can be seen. In the background is a town, on a hill are the ruins of a castle. Inscribed and dated in Italian at the bottom: Giac. Leonardis, Venice 1764, with the title: "Mentre il lanuto gregge...". Dimensions: frame approx. 66 x 52 cm, mount approx. 49 x 36.5 cm. With traces of age and use, foxing.
