War unten rechts signiert, wurde aber aber entfernt, bei genauer Betrachtung sind noch rote Farbpigmente zu erkennen wie sie bei den Signaturen Grigorescus typisch sind. Auf der Rückseite Stempel des Museums in Arad aus der kommunistischen Ceausescu Zeit. Bildmaße ca.33 x 24 cm. Überwiegend guter Zustand mit wenigen Altersspuren, linke Ecke mit Haarriss. Ende 19. Jh. gemalt. Bitte besichtigen, keine Expertise vorhanden. Nicolae Ion Grigorescu (* 15. Mai 1838 in Pitaru bei Bukarest; † 21. Juli 1907 in Câmpina) war ein rumänischer Maler und gilt neben Ștefan Luchian und Ion Andreescu als einer der Mitbegründer der modernen rumänischen Malerei. Studium an der an der École des Beaux-Arts, Paris, Mitschüler von Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Sein späteres Werk weist impressionistische Einflüsse auf. Nicolae Ion Grigorescu (* 15 May 1838 in Pitaru near Bucharest; † 21 July 1907 in Câmpina) was a Romanian painter and is considered one of the co-founders of modern Romanian painting, along with Ștefan Luchian and Ion Andreescu. Studied at the École des Beaux-Arts, Paris, fellow student of Pierre-Auguste Renoir. His later work shows Impressionist influences. He often sought his subjects in Romanian rural everyday life at the end of the 19th century.
