Im Hintergrund sind Berge und eine Schlossruine zu erkennen. Rechts unten signiert. Maße Bild: 65 x 54,5 cm, Rahmen 68 x 78 cm. Guter Erhaltungszustand mit Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Jules Dupré (* 5. April 1811[1] in Nantes; † 6. Oktober 1889 in L’Isle-Adam) war einer der bedeutendsten französischen Landschaftsmaler der Schule von Barbizon. Jules Dupré (* April 5, 1811[1] in Nantes; † October 6, 1889 in L'Isle-Adam) was one of the most important French landscape painters of the Barbizon school. He is considered the founder of modern French landscape painting.
