Franziskus, rechts im Bild, hat die linke Hand auf sein Herz gelegt, sein Blick geht in die Ferne. Links oben ist ein Engel (Putto) auf einer Wolke zu sehen, sowie die Köpfe von zwei weiteren über Franziskus. Vor ihm auf dem Tisch liegt ein Buch an einen Totenkopf gelehnt. Maße: 28 x 36cm. Guter Erhaltungszustand mit Altersspuren, partiell ausgebessert, Ränder ausgefranst, ungerahmt. Baroque painting, St. Francis of Assisi, 17th century. Oil on canvas. In the upper left is an angel (putto) on a cloud, and the heads of two others above Francis. In front of him on the table is a book leaning against a skull. Dimensions: 28 x 36cm. Good condition with signs of age, partially repaired, frayed edges, unframed.
