SMALL MULTI MEDIA LADIES'S SECRETARY STYLE LOUIS XV.
Maison Vervelle. Paris.
Date: Ca. 1856.
Technique: King wood, sati wood, rose wood amongst others. Fire gilded bronze.
Description: On four high, curved legs, the slightly cambered body with matching frame and angled,
hinged writing surface. Fine bronze fittings with cupids on the corners of the wide frame.
The writing surface also framed with fine decorative mouldings and decorative elements
with rocaille curves in the corners. The straight shelf at the top with a gallery edge on
three sides. Fine interior fittings with three drawers, bottom drawer and storage
compartment.
Measurement: 86x69x42cm.
Mark: On the lock inscr. "Mon Vervelle".
Enclosed: Key.
