Ad Plaque Jakob Haberfeld Jewish Distillery Oswiecim
Awesome period advertising metal plaque of the famous Jakob Haberfeld Vodka distillery that was located in Oswiecim. Plaque is in excellent condition, with a bottle represented in colour and in relief.We present the history of a family that not only became famous in the world as a significant brand of vodkas and liqueurs, but also as prominent figures for the city. Few people have known that Alfons Haberfeld was the only shareholder in the first Polish car factory in OÅ›wiÄ™cim, “OÅ›wiÄ™cim-Prague”. Many of the Polish celebrities such as Jan Kiepura a polish singer or Wojciech Kossak a noted polish painter drove the cars from the factory in OÅ›wiÄ™cim.The exhibition also tells the story of one of the two most influential Jewish families in OÅ›wiÄ™cim. Their fates were dramatically interrupted by the outbreak of World War II and the murder of Franciszka Henryka Haberfeld, then a 5-year-old girl, in the death camp in BeÅ‚zec.Size 47cm x 18cm .This item we shipping from our office in Europe.
