Painting by the school of the artist Pietro da Cortona and an example of the Roman Baroque style depicting Julius Caesar with his head surrounded by a laurel wreath in the act of restoring power to his lover Cleopatra, accompanied by two bridesmaids, showing them with his hand the throne on the left, on which the crown and scepter, symbols of royal power, are placed, and holding her hand with the right. On her right, in the shadow, a resentful Arsinoe moves away from her, forced to cede the throne to her sister.
