Nickel Plated Copper Medallion - Chabad, Welcome King Messiah - 1994.
This medallion was issued at the beginning of the year 5755, a few months after the departure of the Lubavitcher Rebbe - the period in which a polemic about the messianism of the Rebbe began to emerge in Chabad.
Shortly after the withdrawal, the Rabbinical Court of Chabad published a letter in which he called for a halt to the proclamation, "Long live our Lord, our Master and King Messiah, forever and ever."
On one side of the medal are the captions: "Blessed is the King Messiah," "The Admor, the King Messiah," forever and ever, the brightest and greatest day of the 11th of Nissan 5659, eternal life without interruption for the time being " "" Long live our Lord, our Master, and our King, King Messiah, forever and ever "in Hebrew and English.
On the other side: Illustration of the House of Moshiach, 770, "Jesus rejoiced in the joy of redemption. Here is the King Messiah." "Your time has come for your salvation."
Weight: 27 grams.
Diameter: 39 mm.
Condition: Excellent.
