A beverage is a popular term for alcoholic drinks among Chabad Chassidim.
In the early years, the Rebbe used a drink called Benediktin, and following the Rebbe's practice of publicly using the Smirnoff drink (although the Rebbe continued to use Benedictine afterwards). To this day, this drink is the main drink used at Hasidic gatherings in 770.
