State Medallion - Liberation, 1958,silver 935.
Obverse:
In the center, as a symbol of "liberated Israel" - a farmer planting a tree, a woman joyfully raising her child, a palm tree with seven spoons and two clusters of fruit. On the rim around it is the title "Decade for the Freedom of Israel 1958" and the Latin sentence "Israel Liberata" (liberated Israel).
Reverse:
Transcription of a Roman coin minted on the occasion of the conquest of Jerusalem by Vespasian in 70 CE. On the left, Vespasian is seen as the victor, and on the right is Ivria, a mourning woman sitting under a palm tree that symbolizes Yehudah. On the rim of the Roman coin appears a Latin inscription "Judaea Capeta" (Yehudah the captive), and below
Two Roman letters are the initials of the words "in the command of the Senate". On the rim of the medal - a chain that symbolizes the Shevi and the Hebrew inscription - "
