הכת"י היה גנוז יותר ממאה שנה והיה כתוב בכתב משיטה ולא נודע מי מחברו, והוא פירוש המבאר את דברי המהרש"א בביאוריו למסכתות הש"ס.
ובסופו ספר 'דברי גדלי', חלק ראשון, למו"ל רבי יצחק ב"ר גדליה פרידמן ממעזריטש-ירושלים. על הש"ס ותנ"ך.
