The Hebrew edition with a dedication by the author Eleazar Sukenik (1889-1953), who was an archaeologist, head of the Department of Archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and co-founder of the Biblical Encyclopedia with Cassuto. Sukenik was the father of Yigal Yadin.
Both editions include numerous plates, some in color, and a folding diagram of the synagogue.
32X25 cm. Good condition. The Hebrew edition has light wear on the cover.
