Rare: Golden Apples - Latin Essay on the Hebrew Language, Dedicated by Historian Giovan Battista Carlo Giuliari - Rome 1618
Poma Aurea Hebraicae linguae, F. Francisci Donati.
Divided into three parts: the first is on accents, the second on abbreviations, the third is the Christian doctrine written in the Hebrew language. Includes various versions of sacred things useful and entertaining for students. On the inner cover there is a dedication by the Italian historian Giovan Battista Carlo Giuliari (1810-1892). Includes an engraving on the title page. Rebound in half-parchment binding.
Latin and Hebrew, 238 pp., 24X18 cm. Good overall condition: general wear, tears on some pages and at the margins of pages, uneven cutting of pages.
