Includes an engraving next to the title page, an engraving with the author's portrait and five folding maps. Bound in parchment.
Reland (1676-1718) was a native Dutch scholar, cartographer, philologist, and one of the first European Orientalists.
Dutch, 428 pp. + index, 20X13 cm. Good overall condition, light wear.
