Proper Cooking, East and West - Lillian Cornfeld
The book includes 3000 recipes, in chapters on nutrition and the household. The author places emphasis on the meeting of culinary cultures that exists in Israel, between the cooking of the Ashkenazi community and the cooking of the Eastern community. In the opening of the book, Cornfeld states that we must maintain our anthropological culinary uniqueness as a society for the sake of gastronomic preservation. Includes original cover.
