Beno Rothenberg - An Album with Dozens of Photographs
Beno Rothenberg (1914-2012) was an Israeli photographer and archaeologist, who photographed and edited photo books about the Land of Israel, and worked as one of the country's most prominent press photographers.
This lot includes a total of 62 photographs. Many of them are of animals: giraffes, turtles, dogs, lions, hedgehogs, lizards, birds, snakes, rodents and more. Also a photograph of trees in the wind, pioneers/tourists visiting an antiquities site, locals with camels, farm animals near a construction site, alleys, landscapes, buildings and people.
Behind the photographs is the stamp of Rothenberg's photography studio at 11 Wiesel Street in Tel Aviv.
Sizes vary. Good general condition.
