A very nice book that offers an overview of the development of the sport of sailing and rowing, as well as the war and merchant fleet. With many photographs, illustrations and also full-page color illustrations. At the end of the book there is a full calendar for the year 1903 with many additional illustrations as well as fortnightly pages of the dates (blank). Special cover with a relief of an eagle, including gilded parts.
German, 30x20 cm. The pages of the book are in good condition. The cover is in reasonable condition, with tears in the spine and general wear.
