Lexicon of Yiddish Literature - Three Volumes - Vilna 1928
Three of four volumes. Lexicon for literature, journalism and Yiddish philology, by Zalman Reisen (1887-1939) who was a Yiddish philologist, historian of literature, editor, translator, writer and critic. The lexicon includes entries about writers and poets, including biographies and photos. The lot includes the first three volumes. Fancy half-leather covers with golden inscriptions.
Yiddish, 1287 + 1043 + 795 pp., 25X19 cm. Good-reasonable general condition: covers with defects, in one of the covers the spine is torn and detached.
