12 folders containing around 140 plates with reproductions of paintings, illustrations and engravings, including portraits of Shakespeare, scenes from plays and famous actors of the plays throughout history, posters advertising plays and more. Connoisseur Edition that was printed and distributed privately. All the folders come in one hard folder bound with a thread.
English, 28x20 cm. The plates are in good overall condition. The outer folder is wihtout its spine, but still has the original thread. Folder #3 is missing a cover and three first plates.
