A very rare book that brings together documents in Hebrew of the Jews of Catalonia - a Jewish community that existed on the Iberian Peninsula in the Christian kingdoms of Catalonia, Valencia and Majorca until the expulsion from Spain at the end of the 15th century. At the height of the community, two important Torah centers flourished in Barcelona and Girona. This community has its own siddur tefilah (Catalan version), unique customs and a unique tradition of halachic ruling. Includes many writings in Hebrew, including 33 facsimiles of original writings.
Spanish and Hebrew, 167 pp., 29x22 cm. Good overall condition: rust spots, uncut pages.
