Gurlitt was an important collector and art dealer in the 19th century whose descendants continued to own his gallery, which focused on contemporary art, and closed during World War II. This is a numbered deluxe edition of the Almanac (there is also a ”regular” edition) printed in 750 copies (this is copy No 32) on fine Japanese paper. Including a print by Max Pechstein on the cover, as well as a calendar designed by Pechstein and an original woodcut. There is also an original engraving and lithograph by Lovis Corinth.
