Shalos Uteshuvos Chacham Tzvi first edition, Amsterdam 1712

Shalos Uteshovos on the four parts of Shulchan Aruch by Rabbi Tzvi Ashkenazi of Amsterdam.


It was printed during his lifetime in Amsterdam in 1712 by Shlomo Props.


On the cover page it says that it belongs to Rabbi Aharon Fischer, Batei Zibenbergen. Additionally the inside of the Sefer contains handwritten comments that look like they were written by an esteemed Talmid Chacham.


Rabbi Tzvi Ashkenazi was born in Trebitch in Czechoslovakia. His father was the son in law of Rabbi Efraim Hakohen Obin of Budapest, the Baal Shar Efraim. He learnt from his father and grandfather. He got married to the daughter of Rabbi Meshilem Zalman Mireles.After their marriage in Altuna, he founded a Yeshiva there. His son was the famous Rabbi Yakov Emden.


New magnificent leather cover. General condition is very good-good. In the first five pages, there are restored tears with paper filling and completion of the text.
