Rare passport photo of the Holy Rabbi Shimon Shalom of Amshinov from the time he lived in Otwock, that was given as a remembrance to his disciple and chassid. - Rare passport photo  from the Hrh” k Rabbi Shimon Shalom of Amshinov, from the time he lived in Otwock, Poland. This photo is cut from a larger picture and kept as a remembrance by his close disciple, great chassid and activist Rabbi David Bernholtz son of the philanthropist and chassid Rabbi Eliezer Bernholtz (who was the father-in-law of Hrh” k the Chelkas Yehoshua of Biala). Possibly in the large photo other family members were also seen.  Foreign writing  on the back of the photo indicates that this has been given to save to R' David Bernholz when he ascended from Otwock to Israel in the year 1932.  7x6 cm. Not cut symmetrical. Fold mark. Light stains. Good condition.
