Megillas Esther, ink on parchment, mounted on a handle. Unique writing.
18 columns on 5 sheets of parchment. 15 lines per column. Sephardic script with the “ח” as per Rashi’s rulings.
Parchment height: 19cm, Overall height including the handle: 39cm.
Ink smears on some letters. Some letters worn out. Stains. Several tears which were sewn up using sinew. Some stitches between sheets with defects.
On two sheets missing words were filled in with writing between the lines. Fair condition.
