Postcard by Rabbi Chaim Zvi Ginz to Rabbi Pinchas Leibush Weber of Jerusalem. Zenta [Hungary], 1911.


"May Hashem bless him and all who accompany him with excess and may they be only happy with no sorrow G-d forbid". Postcard handwritten and signed by Rabbi Chaim Zvi Ginz, with blessings for the New Year and regards to Rabbi Pinchas Leibush Weber and his family. Zenta, 1911.

Rabbi Chaim Zvi Ginz, the son of the Shoches and Bodek Rabbi Shimon Ginz. A discipe of his brother Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Ginz Av Beis Din on Sisermen and a disciple of Rabbi Simcha Bonem Sofer author of the "Sheves Sofer" at the Pressburg Yeshiva. During the years 1897-1899 wrote down some of the innovations of his Rav the Sheves Sofer. Was a Maggid Meisharim and secretary of the Munkatch community. Married Blima the daughter of Rabbi Pinchas Chaim Klein (his second marriage).
