Bechinat Olam, by the sage the Badrashi, with Pirkei Avot in Hebrew and in French, and with the 13 Middos in French with the words of the Christian translation in the holy tongue, by Felippe d’Aquin. Ioannis Lacqvehay press, Paris, 1629. Rare.
The Paris edition is the 13th edition of this Sefer, which had been printed many times, but it is an extremely rare edition.

Printed left-to-right. [46], 223 (should be 233), 69, [1], 20, 72 pp. 17cm. Additional title pages for Pirkei Avot and the 13 Middot. With the translator’s preface in Hebrew and French, and with poems in French, by various poets, dedicated to the local head of the Church and to the translator. Without the Italian translation of Pirkei Avot.
Ancient leather binding. Stains. Pastings for restoration of several pages. 1 page misbound. Good condition.
